Hi!! I’m back from summer camp! I’m still on vacation, but just not at camp for the moment 🙂
Just thought I’d share a super-cute digital kit that I found that will be fun for scrappin’ those campy, smore-chomping summer moments….or even just any cute photos of little kids and their sweetness.
If its’ cuteness gets to you as it did to me, you can purchase this digital kit (by Valorie Wibbens and Lauren Reid) here at The Lily Pad (and check out some of the digital layouts that others have made with it)
Someday I’ll post a page or two that I’m gonna make with this cute kit! 😉
We attended a wedding over the weekend…a beautiful spring wedding….complete with soggy wet blizzard! Our weather has been a bit crazy lately, with springy moments and quite a few blizzardy moments. Oh well, we know spring is here, even if she’s a little bi-polar. There were no pickle barrels at the wedding (just friends and good food!), but there is a Pickle Barrel sale on at my favorite digital shop, Pickleberrypop here ! You can mix and match kits for $1 each full of digital goodness! Some of the ones I picked up today have a “mother” theme….remember that Mother’s Day is just around the corner! (I’m reminding myself).
Here’s a quick page that I liked…it’s totally done for you, all I did was add my photos and journalling and title. It took about 10 minutes. It’s from Dee Bee Designs here . I just want to encourage people that digital scrapbooking can be super fast and easy!! Let others do all the fiddly work for you!
Thanks for snapping our photo, Will! Here’s one for you, heh heh, of your son and “the girls”. When I took the top photo, both of the kids were very stiff and awkward, it’s was so funny, but they stood there and let me take the photo!
(this one uses some of the other digital content other than the quickpage kit)
Oh, yes, the digi sale is only on from today to Wednesday. Just so you know, I only promote this digital scrapbooking site because I like it, and that’s the only reason 🙂 Now I need to start working on some Mother’s Day stuff with my new digi content!
For yesterday, today and tomorrow only, there’s a great sale on…the Pickle Barrel at Pickleberrypop.com!!!
Pickleberrypop was one of the very very first sites that I found for digital scrapbooking supplies….and I loved it! So graphic and fun. Back then it was based in Australia (I’m not sure if it still is) and I was introduced to a very different style of scrapbooking. Right now there are a bunch of digital kits from various designers, that are all color-coordinated with each other, but with different themes, and they are each on sale for $1!! Just go to the Pickle Barrel. They are great for mixing and matching, so I picked up a few yesterday. This time I bought 2 kits with predone pages, so very quick for slapping on a photo…which is what I did. It literally took me 5 minutes to put this together: (except I didn’t do any journalling, a big weakness of mine)
that’s from a Lindsey Jane kit, really fun colors, great for spring!
Then I felt like typing out some lyrics to a song I listen to with the kids, so I grabbed another predone page and just did the typing and used the alpha set that came with the Out of This World kit to do the title….so fun!
this song has a lot to do with a bizarro experience that we had in Guatemala, which I will post about later! 😉
such a fun kit by Trixie Scraps for boys and outerspace stuff.
Here’s a peek at something else I’m working on and will post about soon:
I’ve got rainbows and owls on the brain!
